Reviews and Ratings
My stay at the hotel was a mix of good and bad. The room was nicely done but unfortunately filthy, with a leather pullout couch that I couldn't use due to the severe musky odor throughout. The service, while friendly, had a little pushiness regarding tours or timeshares. The location was very scenic and great for a vacation but marred by cigarette smoke smell. The dining experience required driving quite a distance for a meal. Overall, a stay with ups and downs.
The hotel room worked for a 1-night stay, despite being small. Unfortunately, the thin walls made it hard to sleep with all the noise from doors slamming and people talking. The location was beautiful, close to the Shenandoah mountains, even though it seemed the hotel had been taken over by a corporation. Dining options were limited to the general store, and the noise from the AC was bothersome with no offer to switch rooms. On the positive side, the service was friendly and the fresh food at the store was good for the price.
My stay at the hotel was a bit underwhelming. While the location was beautiful and serene, the rooms were not as luxurious as expected, and the space felt overcrowded. The service was lacking, but the property had some redeeming qualities.
